Your information, handled with care.

Website enquiries

When you submit an enquiry, Àlááfíà Village receives your name, email address, phone number, country of residence if supplied, ownership or visit interest, preferred visit date if supplied, and message. We record the time you accepted the privacy notice.

How information is used

Your information is used to respond to your request and discuss the village, ownership options or a visit. It is stored in the website’s restricted WordPress administration area and may be sent to the team’s configured notification email and WhatsApp number. Please avoid including financial account information or identity documents in enquiry or chat messages.

Chat conversations

The chat stores your supplied name, optional email, messages, team replies and consent time. Messages may be relayed through the WhatsApp Business Platform to the Àlááfíà team. A conversation token is saved in your browser to resume your chat for up to seven days. Use “New conversation” to disconnect that browser from the previous conversation. Chat access tokens are not included in personal-data exports.

Security and retention

Access is restricted to authorised website administrators. Enquiry and chat records are reviewed against the configured retention period of 365 days. The website uses short-lived, pseudonymous network identifiers to limit automated submissions. Necessary security or hosting logs may be retained by the hosting provider.

Your requests

Contact the Àlááfíà team to request access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to applicable obligations. WordPress personal data export and erasure tools support enquiries and conversations where an email address was supplied. For a conversation without email, provide its reference to the team.

Stays and shared ownership

Guest bookings store your contact details, selected dates, guest count, pricing, consent and payment reference. Paystack processes hosted checkout; this website does not collect card details. Browser storage keeps a private booking access token for your return. Shared ownership enquiries store your preferred property and group plans; authorised staff may connect your customer record to a private group and proposed allocation. Personal-data tools include these records. Paid references, amounts and dates may be retained for accounting while guest contact details and access tokens are removed.

Other services

WhatsApp and Meta process relayed messages under their respective service terms. Social media, brochure hosting or virtual-tour links may open external services with their own privacy practices. A referral code may be stored for 30 days when you follow an approved partner link. Introductions are attributed to that partner, who can see a reference and buying stage, but not your contact details or private messages. Customer journeys store submitted interests, follow-up plans and team notes. Partners can request removal of their training and programme records. Optional visit history is stored only if you select “Allow visit history.” It records the website pages you explore for 30 days, using a random browser token. When you submit an enquiry, that history may be attached to your customer record to help the team respond. You can stop new tracking using “Visit privacy choices”; previously attached records can be removed through a personal-data request. The plugin itself does not add advertising trackers. Other installed website services may have additional practices.
